Ben Quinn’s Catch & Cook
As featured on ITV’s Home Sweet Holiday Home with Lisa Faulkner, Ben Quinn is going great guns with his fabulous Catch & Cook days. You might have seen him out on the Helford or in St Agnes fishing and prepping his rather delicious fishy dishes.
A typical Catch & Cook is for up to seven guests (that’s how many Ben can squeeze on the boat). GCG loved going out for a day fishing in the sunshine with Ben, who was on hand to deal out fishing and cheffing advice, as well as being a master of local information and a huge passion for the piscatorial.
Usually a Catch & Cook is three generous courses. The first, such as sashimi or ceviche, is served on the boat then back to the cottage for the mains and dessert: GCG recommends the Sea Thatch in St Agnes, but Ben is super flexible and can cook up a storm anywhere. With no mess left to clean up and hassle free good time guaranteed it is easy to see why Ben is becoming quite popular!
