Dr Livingstone I Presume?
The GCG are big fans of Miracle Theatre. Each and every show is awesome and we love that you get to see performance in outdoor venues, community digs and cool spots in and around Cornwall. Hello adventures! Dr Livingstone, I Presume? is entertainment on a stick.
Theatre, Hilarious evenings out
Yes, I was the one laughing embarrassingly loudly and with significant gusto. In fact I also snorted like a pig too, such was this performance from the veritably brilliant Miracle Theatre the funniest thing I’ve seen in ages.
You’d be mad to miss this epic adventure into unknown territories of entertainment. The show is jam-packed full of comedy and melodrama. It really plays on the conventions of theatre, pulling off a spectacularly funny show.
Dr Livingstone, I Presume? is the tale of the great explorer and his travels to the heart of Africa in search of the source of the river Nile.
The Victorian theatre players, Ffitch Repertory Players, attempt to tell the story of the famous explorer via a series of music hall turns (song and ballet, ventriloquism and stand-up comedy) is as fraught with danger and catastrophe as any expedition into the heart of Africa.
It’s a brilliant night out, and in typical Miracle style, the performances are set in great locations throughout Cornwall. See it. It’s a must.
