Padstow Christmas Festival Cookbook

I love cookbooks. Not that I am particularly adept at cooking… we are currently living in the aftermath of several failed banana bread attempts. I like to be creative and go off-piste. This should only be left for the skilled professionals, or indeed those who possess some affinity with the chemistry of the cooking process. The Padstow Christmas Festival Cookbook is perfect for both those who love to cook, and those who are like me and just like cookbooks!

Perfect For:
Festive food, superb chef recipes, Christmas gifts

Find a range of recipes from tip top Cornish chefs to get you into the festive spirit, and crucially to get you chomping at the bit for some Padstow Christmas Festival action (4 – 7 December, 2014).

The first Padstow Festival cookbook was created in 2012 with a hit list of talented UK chefs. This new cookbook features a delicious collection of recipes, tips, pics and general foodie fodder from the culinary stars who have appeared at the festival over the years. With a definite festive theme, ie an excellent gift for Christmas…, there are plenty of recipes to get you into the kitchen. However, cookbooks aren’t just for Christmas. There are lots of clever recipes to cook throughout the seasons.

Two of the festival’s biggest supporters, Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth, have written the foreword to this year’s book, which includes recipes from Nathan Outlaw, Mark Hix, Mitch Tonks, Tom Kerridge, Michael Caines, Angela Harnett and Ashley Palmer Watts, and (draw breath) many more.

Grab yourself a copy or as a super gift for £9.95 from selected locations across Padstow and at the Festival. It is also available by post from Padstow Tourist Information Centre.

Don’t miss the Padstow Christmas Festival 2014 this Thursday 4th – Sunday 7th December either. The traditional Christmas market will have plenty of festive food to try, cool chefs kicking about and lots of great Xmas shopping from artisan producers, crafters and artists.
