Boutique Boltholes, Illicit weekends, Mid-week mini-moons
Stay & Supper
Over three floors the white interiors – original floorboards and a contemporary white leather sofa make the space feel decadently low-key luxury. The large wood-burner takes centre stage with plenty of space to shrug off the city and relax. The downstairs kitchen is all gleaming granite work-tops, bespoke built wooden cupboards and a clever use of space housing a Belfast sink, dishwasher and halogen oven. Croissants and coffee for two at the boutique breakfast bar for Monaco meets Mousehole chic.
Late nights & Lie ins
Up on the first floor is the super king sized French bed. With oversized floor lanterns, high ceilings and built in hanging wardrobes and cupboards there is plenty of space without worrying about a ‘capsule wardrobe’. Double aspect windows over rooftops and glimpses of the sea guarantee this bedroom is flooded with natural light all year round.
Soak off the salt water
The French grey folding screen hides a freestanding slipper bath in the bedroom. Set on sublime slate floor it is the perfect spot to soak (for two) with a glass of wine or two. The separate bathroom with power shower is on the ground floor.
Gylly Cottage is decked with all the mod-cons you need. With TV, DVD and Roberts Radio as well as an eclectic selection of DVDs, books and board-games for late nights around the fire.
Gylly has plenty of wardrobe space and is perfectly positioned for exploring Mousehole, visits to the Minack and nostalgic walks along the promenade.
