Stay & Supper
The open plan living area has many of the original features, beams, flooring and the most beautiful sink-into leather sofa just by the wood-burning stove. Full of locally sourced pieces and antiques the Sea Thatch is an eclectic mix of quintessential English charm. The wonderfully light kitchen will have you flexing your inner Nigella making use of the ever-hot stove and fresh produce from St Agnes. Or make the most of local private chef Ben Quinn – ‘catch & cook’ with a day on the water and super fresh-as-it comes fish.
Late nights & Lie ins
Two bedrooms with the master bedroom having a king-size bed and a separate dressing room – the dressing room has a rather beautiful French day bed, just in case. The twin bedroom has cast iron beds with deep pillows and snuggly throws. You are completely tucked away in the Sea Thatch, perfect for lazy mornings and breakfast in bed.
Soak off the salt water
A coastal-chic family sized bathroom with large bath and overhead shower to hose off after a surf at Trevaunance Cove – walk all the way in your wetsuits, or a long dog walk at Chapel Porth beach just a short walk along the coast path.
The Sea Thatch has everything you need for a home away from homestay. Fully equipped with WiFi, TV, DVD player, iPod doc and a selection of dvds, books and board games. Great for sitting by the wood-burner on a clear chilly evening.
Make sure to pack you beach things as the beach is oh, so close. Totally dog-friendly with an enclosed large garden and huge outdoor table for supper alfresco – be prepared to want to BBQ all day long.
