Wild cooking with Fat Hen
Fat Hen, passionate about wild food and their cookery school, has a new set of dates for their courses in 2014. The programme will showcase the astounding abundance and diversity of wild Cornish produce, as well as offering a venue for unique dining experiences and inspiring budding chefs.

Expanding the offering to include specialist wild food courses in fish, game, seaweed and wild Italian cookery this will challenge and inspire – perfect for adventurers. Not just confined to the kitchen try kayaking and cycling foraging routes and gourmet wild food weekends.
This year Fathen will be joined by two teaching aficionados to lead the specialist courses Mark Devonshire, formerly head tutor of Rick Stein’s Seafood Cookery School, heading up the Gourmet Foraging Weekends and Tim Maddams, formerly of the River Cottage, will be coming to lead the Fish and Game Weekends.”
The courses are aimed at re-connecting people to the land and reducing the journey from soil to plate, as well as offering a really special taste experience.
